Kanchalee is a multidisciplinary artist and storyteller from Bangkok, Thailand.

 

She has a B.A. from Thammasat University. She was waitlisted for Columbia University’s M.F.A. in screenwriting/directing and was accepted into The City College of New York’s M.F.A. in Media Arts Production (Narrative).

Aside from filmmaking, Kanchalee has been practicing illustration using watercolor, gouache, colored pencil, Procreate, etc. She opened her small business called “Rabbitsun Studio”, selling prints, greeting cards and stationery. You can visit her instagram here.

In 2022, she received a grant from Creatives Rebuild New York.

Kanchalee is an active member of the Buffalo Niagara Children’s Writers & Illustrators group.

 

Currently, she resides in Buffalo, NY.
